Born in Camagüey, Cuba in 1987. In the year 1995 he moves to Venezuela where he began his musical studies at the age of 9 in the Núcleo of Montalbán (Youth and Children National System of Orchestras and Choirs of Venezuela, “El Sistema”).

In 1997 he joined the National Children's Orchestra of Venezuela, with whom he toured to Italy, France, Germany, Spain, United States, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, and other countries. He later won a position through a competition in the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra, where he played as a Associate Principal Trumpet until 2018, under the direction of Maestro Gustavo Dudamel, as well as great guest conductors such as Maestro Claudio Abbado, Sir Simon Rattle, Daniel Baremboin, Lorin Maazel and others.

In the year of 2014 he participated in the first “Eric Aubier” Latin American Trumpet Competition, in the city of Medellín, Colombia, where he won the second prize. It comes from having participated in the first "Girolamo Fantini" International Trumpet Competition, held in the city of Rome, Italy, in April 2017, where he obtained a special award and honorable mention by the jury. In 2020 he won the first prize in the "Ictus Music International Trumpet Competition".

He has received classes from teachers like Gábor Tarkövi, Thomas Clamor, Eric Aubier, Giuliano Sommerhalder, Max Sommerhalder, Rolf Smedvig, Vladimir Kafelnikov and others.

He is an active member of the Simón Bolívar Ensemble of Trumpets, with whom he has toured the Americas and Europe, sharing scenarios with maestros such as Thomas Gansh, James Morrison, Eric Aubier and Gábor Tarkövi, they performance on one of the gala concert of the prestigious 2019 International Trumpet Guild edition, where also participated Maestros like Sergei Nakariakov, Chris Martin, Fabio Brum, José Sibaja, Mary Elizabeth Bowden, Matilda Lloyd, among others.

He has a degree in Music, mentioning instrumental execution (Trumpet), graduated from the Experimental University of the Arts (UNEARTE) in Caracas, Venezuela. He also used to be one of the main professors at the School of Trumpets of the Sistema in the city of Caracas.
